The Moccasin Creek Golf Shop is looking for Golf Shop Assistants to join our strong team for the golf season. Our ideal candidate is attentive with great customer service skills, an outgoing attitude, and hard-working. The golf season typically runs from April through October.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with members and guest providing exceptional experiences.
• Assist the Golf Professional in the management of day-to-day operations.
• Act as golf course starter controlling the tee sheet. Assist members to find starting times and games.
• ​Be the first contact members and guest have with the Club; including handling phone calls in a prompt, polite, and courteous manner.
• Help organize, conduct, and promote all tournaments while using the latest technologies available to provide an outstanding experience for the participants.
• Help members and guest with merchandise purchase decisions and special orders.
• Assist with merchandising and presentation of the Golf Shop.
• Assist with outside services where needed and help to oversee the Professional Services operation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Golf knowledge a plus.
• Part-time and full-time positions available.

The Moccasin Creek Golf Shop is looking for Service Assistants to join our strong team for the golf season. Our ideal candidate is attentive with great customer service skills, an outgoing attitude, and hard-working. The golf season typically runs from April through October.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with members and guest providing exceptional experiences.
• Take care of golfer’s clubs through cleaning, handling, and storage services.
• Conduct and ensure proper maintenance of golf cart fleet including charging, cleaning, detailing, servicing, and other duties.
• Oversee and undertake all duties required to operate the entire practice facility operation, including picking, cleaning, and distribution of practice balls, hitting area maintenance, and other duties.
• Help keep cart storage area, bag storage area, practice facility, and outside areas clean and neat along with performing Daily Beautification Lists (DBL’s) and ensuring their accurate execution by all team members.
• Assist with the presentation of the Golf Shop.
• Help organize, conduct, and promote all tournaments while using the latest technologies available to provide an outstanding experience for the participants.
• Assist with Golf Shop Assistant duties where needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.

Moccasin Creek CC is looking for full or part time maintenance personnel for the golf season.  We offer flexible AM work schedules for all ages of applicants.  No experience necessary. The First Tee of South Dakota depends on volunteers in the Aberdeen area. We operate during the busy summer golf season and offer the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of capacities. If you have 1 hour a week or a month, we need your help!
As an example, if you have limited time we can use your help for two hours once a month! If you live for helping kids and playing golf we can use your assistance any time you are available! Or if you’re a parent of a student and would like to help, we need it! The volunteer opportunities are endless and time commitments are flexible to fit your schedule. Volunteers are needed in all areas at The First Tee of South Dakota to impact the youth of our community!
